Ce matin, nous avons poursuivi notre immersion dans l’histoire et l’architecture de Pampelune. Après un passage par le Mirador del Caballo Blanco, offrant une vue imprenable sur la ville, nous avons eu l’opportunité de visiter l’hôtel de ville. Ce bâtiment emblématique, au cœur de la Plaza Consistorial, est le point de départ des célèbres fêtes de San Fermín. À l’intérieur, nous avons découvert des éléments historiques majeurs : portraits, objets d’époque et une imposante lettre symbolisant l’histoire de la ville.

Notre exploration s’est ensuite poursuivie dans un parc urbain où nous avons pu observer la faune locale avant d’arpenter les rues de Pampelune pour enrichir notre travail de recherche. Chaque détail architectural découvert viendra nourrir notre guide touristique, que nous concevons en collaboration avec nos correspondants espagnols.

Ce projet, au-delà d’un simple recueil de lieux emblématiques, mettra en valeur l’identité architecturale et culturelle de Pampelune. Une fois finalisé, il sera imprimé et façonné sur place grâce aux équipements professionnels de Salesianos Pamplona. Un véritable travail d’édition, mêlant histoire, graphisme et savoir-faire technique !

This morning, we continued our immersion in the history and architecture of Pamplona. After a visit to the Mirador del Caballo Blanco, with its breathtaking views over the city, we had the opportunity to visit the Town Hall. This emblematic building, at the heart of the Plaza Consistorial, is the starting point for the famous San Fermín fiestas. Inside, we discovered some major historical features: portraits, period objects and an imposing letter symbolising the history of the city.

Our exploration then continued in a city park, where we were able to observe the local wildlife, before strolling the streets of Pamplona to enrich our research. Every architectural detail we discovered will feed into our tourist guide, which we are designing in collaboration with our Spanish correspondents.

More than just a collection of emblematic places, this project will highlight Pamplona’s architectural and cultural identity. Once finalised, it will be printed and finished on site using Salesianos Pamplona’s professional equipment. It’s a real work of publishing, combining history, graphic design and technical know-how!

 

Aujourd’hui, nous avons démarré la réalisation de notre guide touristique de Pampelune. Chaque étudiant français travaille en binôme avec son correspondant espagnol pour concevoir ce projet collaboratif. La matinée a débuté par une session avec un professeur espagnol, qui nous a guidés sur la mise en page sous InDesign et l’optimisation des images sous Photoshop : ajustement des dimensions, résolution et intégration dans notre maquette. Une base essentielle pour structurer notre travail.

Tout au long de la journée, nous avons avancé sur la conception graphique et l’organisation du contenu. Ce projet, mêlant design et techniques d’édition, prendra bientôt vie grâce aux équipements professionnels de Salesianos Pamplona. En fin de journée, nous nous sommes réunis pour préparer le festival du vendredi 28 février, en discutant de l’attribution des costumes  représentant chaque logiciel graphique utilisé dans notre formation commune pour chaque étudiant. Un beau moment d’échange et de créativité !

Today we started work on our tourist guide to Pamplona. Each French student is working in pairs with their Spanish counterpart to design this collaborative project. The morning began with a session with a Spanish teacher, who guided us through the layout in InDesign and the optimisation of images in Photoshop: adjusting dimensions, resolution and integration into our model. An essential basis for structuring our work.

Throughout the day, we made progress on the graphic design and organisation of the content. This project, combining design and publishing techniques, will soon come to life thanks to Salesianos Pamplona’s professional equipment. At the end of the day, we got together to prepare for the festival on Friday 28 February, discussing the allocation of costumes for each student representing each of the graphics software programmes used in our joint course. It was a great moment of exchange and creativity!
